STORAGE / BOTTLING
The storage section is where the tuns and the barrels are. It
is in the plant underground in an area with very little light
and high humidity, as a wine cellar in a castle. The cachaça,
having rested at least 6 months, is ready to be pumped with
a special pump for food industry bottling section. The bottles
are washed and drained in special equipment for this purpose.
The Cachaça flows through 2 filters that remove any waste from
the wood tuns or barrels and eventual copper particles. In the
bottler, the bottles are filled and then go to a machine which
press the caps. Then each bottle goes to a light device for
verification of complete transparency. The final steps are labeling
and packaging, when they will be ready for dispatch.
